20,000 California Students Sue State for Not Teaching Them English


On Wednesday, the ACLU of Southern California filed suit against the State of California for failing to provide English language services to non-native English speakers.  "The suit alleges that lack of instruction has meant some children had to be held back a grade or live with low proficiency scores because of a language barrier."
