Vocabulary Haiku

Tip Details

Vocabulary Haiku: Direct students to roll the die 3 times. Using the 3 objects rolled the student, orally, or in writing, creates a haiku. A haiku has 3 lines. The first line is 5 syllables, the second 7, and the third 5. For example, if they roll a jacket, fish, and baby, they could say: "The jacket is blue. The fish swims to the baby. Baby, blue water, blue."
