Shape Shifter

Tip Details

Shape Shifter: Use felt shapes to get students talking and using descriptive and directional language. Students work in pairs, taking turns moving, adding, or taking one shape then they describe the shape and/or where it is. A great way to get students working and talking in small groups with or without a felt board. For example, “The red star is over the yellow square.”
