Tip: Phone Conversations

Role-play phone conversations back-to-back. Give pairs a card with 2 roles and a topic (e.g. Lincoln & Douglass talk about laws, or a cat & a dog talk about food, etc.)  You can assign roles for what your are studying and offer sentence frames and key vocabulary lists for students who need more support.
