Sketch It!

Tip: Sketch It!

How do I do it?
Play Sketch It! in teams of 3-6. Pair 2 teams to compete with one another.  Teams compete to guess key word or phrase that based on what you are studying from a sketch of the key word this is drawn from pile of index cards. The team members that guess their sketch’s meaning first wins a point for their team. Team members take turns drawing a card then sketching for their team.  After the allotted time, the team with the most points wins.

Variations & Extensions:  Students can guess difficult concepts like democracy or cooperation or beginning students can guess more simple vocabulary and concepts like shapes (e.g. circle, square etc) or body parts (e.g. arm, leg etc.).
