3-D Geometry Models

Use hands-on materials to support students understanding of 3-D shapes, volume, and geometry proofs.  Hands-on materials provide a context for student understanding and make content more comprehensible, or understandable.  When students have the ability to manipulate materials they can more readily show what they understand and what they do not understand, assisting the teacher in assessing student concept attainment and areas that may need reteaching.

This fascinating, geometry-themed bulletin board set supports NCTM standards and includes:

  • 3 die-cut charts with 10 different colorful geometric shapes (17" x 24" each)
  • A resource guide that includes instructions for assembly and suggested activities

Students and teachers can pop-out, fold, and secure the geometric shapes to form 3-D pyramids, cylinders, prisms, cubes, and more. Completed shapes are approx. 3" x 6".
