Photographic Learning Cards - Nouns Verbs and Adjectives

This themed set of Photographic Learning Cards is a great classroom value for ESL and ELL programs, Foreign Language Programs, Title I & III programs, Head Start, resource rooms, early childhood, and elementary classrooms. Photo cards are an incredibly flexible tool that work for all levels of language learners to develop vocabulary, create stories, build sentences, classify, categorize, discuss, converse, and interact with language.

The set includes:

  • 46 photographs of "Nouns: Everyday Objects." Develop vocabulary by identifying objects found in familiar settings.  Features: clothes, furniture, bathroom, kitchen, and personal items, plus many more.
  • 46 photographs of "Nouns: Food." All the basic food groups are represented.  Foods can be sorted according to the USDA's "food plate": vegetables, fruits, dairy, meats & protein, grains, fats, and sweets (empty calories).  Foods can be sorted according to meal and snack choices.
  • 45 photographs of "Nouns: Things at School."  Photographs of people, places, and things commonly found in schools.  Essential vocabulary for school-aged children.
  • 46 photographs of "Verbs: Actions." Delightful images of children demonstrating and easily recognizable actions.
  • 46 photographs of "Adjectives: Opposite." 23 opposite pairs that show adjectives in context.  Includes: old/young; big/little; tall/short; wet/dry; many/few; dirty/clean; full/empty; and more.
  • 46 photographs that promote "Talk About a Child's Day." Incredible photographs that feature children participating in everyday activities and events, such as brushing teeth, attending a birthday party, playing soccer, getting on a school bus, eating breakfast, and playing video games, to name just a few.
